Resolved Question: Why is life so cruel?

Well ill explain very quickly. I quit my job so i could come to Australia on a one year working holiday visa. The idea was to get a job when i arrived. Turns out you need lots of licences to do anything, even working at a bar can require up to three licences. Plus there are so many people here looking, it makes it impossible to find work. I also thought of the following plans: -Ride a bike around Australia - i have no licence and it costs $1000 to get -Willing Work On Organic Farms - There is no transport to the farms -Bar work - Too many licences and i'm not attractive -Electrical work - I did it at home, you need over five licences here also costing over $1000 I was optimistic and after four months here i've decided to make the best of a bad situation and travel South East Asia, i said i'd meet my sister in Kuala Lumpur. I told her to not book a flight until i had sorted it out my end. Instead of listerning to me she decides to go ahead and book the flight. Turns out i haven't had any vaccinations and it will take me six months to get them. So i either go home, or go to Asia with no vaccinations. I'm not sure what to do, but finally i'm starting to feel depressed. What lead me to the question, Why is life so cruel? Oh and p.s on my way to Australia i caught typhoid and ran up $1000 bill in hospital in Singapore. Have any stories like it? Or an answer to why the world is so cruel?... Read More »
